eBay Sales Specialist (Cumberland, RI)

Position Overview

inMusic is looking for an experienced seller to fill the position of eBay Sales Specialist. The eBay Sales Specialist will be responsible for the entire selling process on eBay, from inventory management to shipping. Our goal is to create a consistent revenue stream for items through our eBay stores, with an emphasis on quality customer service, pricing, and clear and concise listings. The eBay Sales Specialist will work collaboratively with our internal teams and be responsible to grow our presence on the eBay sales channel.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple eBay store accounts
  • Research products across multiple brands and work with Sales Managers to assess for marketability on eBay
  • Accurately list items on multiple stores
  • Work with internal creative teams to obtain product photography for individual product listings
  • Write accurate and detailed product descriptions
  • Maintain pricing and posting photos
  • Ability to manage a large database of product SKUs
  • Reply to customer inquiries or complaints via email within a timely manner
  • Upload tracking numbers into eBay selling manager
  • Respond to official customer disputes, complaints and chargebacks associated with eBay and PayPal
  • Conduct internet research on current price and markets for items we are selling
  • Must be able to lead projects with minimal supervision
  • Create monthly sales reports

Qualifications and Required Experience

  • Must have successful experience selling on eBay
  • Proficient in HTML
  • Knowledge of eBay procedures and processes
  • Familiar with eBay algorithms (Cassini)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including both Word and Excel
  • Experience with digital design
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient, organized, detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus

Key Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, ability to use and operate standard office equipment including a computer and keyboard, fax and copy machine, scanner, move about within a standard office area. The person in this position frequently communicates with coworkers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
