Reporting to: Graphic Design Manager
Position Overview: Description:
Graphic Design and Production. Create graphic solutions for web, catalogs, advertising, packaging, POP, sales collateral and more. Keep designs consistent to the brand, while being innovative and interesting to the customer. Implement design concepts using various software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite 3 and to work exclusively in a Macintosh environment. Construct mock-ups (boxes, hangtags, sleeves, inserts, POP, and show signage). Create mechanical files, which are ready to be sent to print. Stay current on all new design techniques and technologies. Knowledge of Flash is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite Experience with packaging layout and pre-press production Image preparation for production
Professional Skills:

2-4 years of professional experience in an agency or corporate design group
- Degree in Graphic Design with a strong and broad portfolio
- Solid understanding of 4 color process and spot color printing
- Detail oriented and capable of providing creative solutions on aggressive timetables
- Flexibility and Time Management: a proven ability to juggle projects and priorities
- Self-motivated team player who enjoys working with people from other disciplines
- Organized

Position: Lead Engineer
Location: Company Headquarters – Cumberland, RI
Reporting to: Director of Engineering
Position Overview: A leading supplier of DJ and MI (music instrument) products is seeking an experienced EE/CS to provide technical leadership and oversight for new product development. As the Lead Engineer, you will participate in product conception, architecture and design. You will provide oversight and guidance to less experienced staff and ODM design efforts. You will provide technical guidance to procurement, manufacturing and end user technical support teams.
Position Description:
- Define and review product specifications
- Guide products through design, engineering, validation and manufacturing hand-off, making sure they reach market quickly
- Track schedules and costs
- 25% travel required
Qualifications
- BSEE or BSCS required, Masters preferred
- Embedded microprocessor system design
- Schematic entry and PCB layout
- Analog audio design
- Ability to program in C/C++
- Experience with project and team leadership
- Experience with Asia contract manufacturing a plus
- Consumer-level compliance certification a plus
- Good communication skills
- Passion for DJ and/or pro audio products is a plus!

Quality Assurance Tester for Musical and DJ Equipment
Akai Professional, Alesis and Numark are leading suppliers of professional audio recording equipment and electronic music instruments. These brands are managed at our Rhode Island office. Our products include music control surfaces, electronic drums, mixers, keyboards, and DJ equipment.
We are looking for someone with a passion for electronic music equipment to test and ensure quality for our new products. You will use our gear in a realistic way and work closely with the engineers to identify potential quality issues and assist in their resolution.
We are looking for the following skills:
- Familiarity with music equipment, DJ equipment, consumer audio, and/or recording equipment
- Experience with computer audio, computer recording, computer DJ software
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Passion for DJ and audio gear!
Location: Cumberland, RI
Pay: $10-$12/hr depending on experience
Education Level: Undergrad or Associate's Degree
