HV10 DeccaBuddy

The Akai Professional HV10 DecaBuddy Harmony Processor allows you to add natural harmonies to your vocal performances, and other monophonic instruments.

By adding four harmony parts to the original vocal part, and by doubling all five parts, the HV10 provides up to 10-voice harmonies: 5 parts (original + 4 transposed harmonies) x 2 (Dual function).

Harmonies can be selected using any one of the sixteen Preset Scales, nine User Scales or MIDI.

When MIDI Scale is selected, the notes in the harmony can be controlled in real-time from an external MIDI keyboard from your MIDI Sequencer.

In addition to generating harmonies, each part includes adjustable pitch correction, and the Formant control allows you to affect the perceived gender of the harmony so that it has a feminine or masculine quality.

To create a natural feel, each voice can have a random delay imposed. Furthermore, hundred programs can be memorized, each program including the parameters for all the parts.

Finally, the onboard digital mixer allows you to adjust the level and pan of each part in the stereo output.
