Stability fixes

  • AIR Jura: corrected behavior of EQ parameters when changing preset.
  • AIR Jura: removed artifacts when changing the Reverb Modulation Amount parameter.
  • MPC One+: users will no longer see “Places” shortcuts disappear from the Browser when ejecting external storage media.
  • Plugin activation has been made more robust worldwide.
  • Temp file handling for storage drives has been improved when rebooting a unit.
  • On Windows, users currently experiencing an issue where MPC Software will not launch without administrator privileges should locate and delete this folder on their installation drive: ProgramData\Akai\MPC\Sentry. This issue has been resolved for all new installs of MPC Software.

Stability and reliability

MIDI Path

  • The same MIDI note can now be played from more than one controller when the note filter is enabled

Plugin Effects

  • Vocal Harmonizer - Note parameter value increments made from control surface hardware are now correct

Plugin Instruments

  • OPx4 - LFO Delay and Fade parameters now respond correctly to different modulation sources

Preferences

  • Cancelling a software update via USB will no longer generate a popup that claims no file was found

Sample Edit

  • Performance has been improved when using the touchscreen to zoom into waveforms in Track Edit and Sample Edit

  • Converting slices to a drum track no longer creates multiple undo events

  • Chopping a sample into a specific number of regions now makes those slices accurately

Sampler/Looper

  • Assigning a sample or a resample to pad has been repaired

Step Sequence

  • When adding a new parameter, the correct pad focus will be shown

Wi-Fi/Ethernet

  • Units will now shut down correctly when shut down immediately after establishing a network connection

New Features

  • You can now download and install internal plugin instruments and effects from the MPC desktop software in the Preferences > Activate Plugins tab.

  • MPC desktop plugin GUIs can be resized (please note this does not apply to the legacy Akai insert effects such as Akai Reverb Large).

  • Presets saved in the VST versions of plugins can now be loaded in the MPC internal versions (and vice versa). These will also appear in the User presets drop-down menu.

  • Pinch-zooming on waveforms is now smooth and responsive

  • Program Edit envelope filter selection now matches between GUI & TUI

  • Multiple notes can now be played simultaneously when using 16 Levels on a polyphonic program

  • Crash no longer occurs when switching between Track Group and Track Mute during playback

  • Certain Splice samples that would not load in previous releases, will now load correctly
  • The Splice subfolders By BPM, By Instrument, By Key, and By Tag will now appear in the browser
  • Samples in all Splice subfolders can now be auditioned
